
Putting our Principles First
Premier Power recognises that companies that operate responsibly are those companies that prosper economically. Our long-term success is based on integrity in our business relationships, on best practice in understanding as well as managing our impacts on the environment and on society. These beliefs are embodied in our Business Principles, which establish our core beliefs, and behaviours that guide the way Premier Power and our employees conduct business.
The Principles are embedded in our activities from our management processes and training programmes to the way we develop and run our asset. These principles set out the core beliefs, values and behaviours that guide all areas of our business. Premier Power believes there is no trade-off between performance and principles.
Split into four categories, the 15 Business Principles cover all aspects of the way we do business focusing on the areas of Conduct, Our People, Society and Environment.

Premier Power has long been a supporter of the local community, providing financial input and staff involvement in local charities and environmental projects. In the past six months alone, Premier Power have provided financial aid to the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice, Marie Curie Cancer Care, NI Chest Heart and Stroke Association, Ulster Cancer Foundation and NI Alzheimer's Society. At a local level, through it’s Community Fund initiative, Premier Power has helped support the work of a number of community groups in the Larne Borough Council area and continues to support the Premier Power Larne Half Marathon.

| Social responsibility at Premier Power does not end at charitable donations. Recognising a commitment to the environment, Premier Power is a Wildlife Champion of the Ulster Wildlife Trust, supporting their work and in partnership, has carried out a biodiversity study of the Ballylumford site which it continues to implement. |
